A Donor Update
I just wanted to take the chance to thank everyone for their continued support and donations. I want to take a second to tell you how your donations have made a difference. Here is what the money has gone towards:
- Gugu’s rent and utilities for 1 month
- Much needed teacher’s salaries for 1 month
- Art supplies for children’s programs
- Books for the teachers
- Transportation costs
- White boards for the classrooms at 1 adult school
- Books for the adult education program
- Dictionaries for the adult education program
- Music and videos for the children
- Some of my personal living expenses

Your mom gave me your blog address yesterday, and I have had the pleasure to read some of it. I am so proud of you and your efforts in Egypt. I was interested in your comment about dictionaries. As a rotary member @ Pemberton, we give all 3rd graders in our system a dictionary of there very own. I can guarantee you that we would love to send some to you to use as you see fit. They come 24 to the case and can be shipped somehow. Let us help you.

There is nothing more rewarding in life than following your heart, and you have every reason to be proud of your work. So... what can we send?
